Six athletes from Team Kellogg's, after tough qualifications and trials, managed to make it to Team USA, and go to Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games to represent U.S.A. All together the Team USA includes 230 athletes. The athletes from Team Kellogg's who made it there are alpine skier Ted Ligety, skeletonist Noelle Pikus-Pace, ice dancers Meryl Davis and Charlie White, free-skier Torin Yater-Wallace and ski jumper Sarah Hendrickson.
"We congratulate Team Kellogg's, an amazing group of athletes who remind fans everywhere that each day is filled with the potential to achieve your goals when you start it off right," said Noel Geoffroy from for Kellogg's U.S. Morning Foods. “We celebrate all of the great starts along their journey toward the Games, and look forward to many more as we cheer them on in Sochi.”
The great starts can be seen at Kellogg's website, at Kelloggs.com/teamusa through the Start Story videos, where the
Kellogg's athletes share their inspirational videos, where you can follow their journeys to the 2014 Sochi Games. The Start Story video series was created as part of Kellogg's "Give A Great Start" program, through which Kellogg's will be providing $.27 to Action for Healthy Kids that helps school breakfast programs. The amount, $.27 will go into the breakfast pool every time a consumer activates a "Great Start" (tweet, share, pin, or watch, see the website for details), and so up to $540 000.
