AARP, a nonpartisan organization, nonprofit that does its best to help people turn their goals and dreams into real possibilities, has just recently launched a new website called AARP Travel to help people pack more into every trip. The intention behind the website is to help consumers really get the most out of each and every trip they take, offering the users personalized planning tools such as Trip Finder and Map Explorer, among other things.
Map Explorer is a detailed interactive map. This street-level map includes all kinds of attractions as well as restaurants, hotels, reviews, and much more.
Trip Finder has been designed to offer the users personalized ideas and recommendations for destinations the individual might want to visit. The recommendations are made based on a series of smart, fun, and visual questions and the recommendations can sometimes be rather unexpected ones.
"People tell me how much they love the travel effect on their lives, health, and relationships, but they're not in love with the sometimes confusing do-it-yourself research and planning process. With AARP Travel, they'll have an easy-to-use resource to seize the trip and have fun in the process," said noted travel expert and
AARP Travel Ambassador Samantha Brown.
