You Can Create Tomorrow...and catch a part of $100,000 in tuition scholarships on the way.
That's right. The Art Institutes and Americans for the Arts have just announced the 10th annual Poster Design Competition with a prize pool of more than $100,000 in tuition scholarships to The Art Institutes schools.
If you're a high school graduate or even a high school senior from U.S., Canada or Puerto Rico and at least 16 years old, you are invited to participate in this competition.
There are two categories to the competition - high school seniors and high school graduates and there are individual prizes for the winners of both of them. More specific prize information as well as the terms and requirements of the competition is available at www.AiCompetitions.com/poster. Some other information can be found in the player below.
But what you should know is that the theme for this year's competition is "You Can Create Tomorrow" and if your poster design meets the theme, you're already 25% there! Considering this is one of the judging criteria. The other three are 1) originality of concept, 2)visual impact, 3) demonstration of basic design skills (read: can you design at all, do you have an eye for it?)
The Deadline for the submissions is January 31, 2013.
The Art Institutes is a system of more than 50 schools in North America dedicated to design, arts and culinary skills.
