BBC has just announced the results of an opinion poll conducted by GlobeScan/PIPA between 3 July and 3 September. The poll asked the individuals in different countries, which candidate, Romney or Obama, would they support for U.S. president.
The results, generated based on the answers of 21,797 people in 21 countries, showed that Romney is pretty much on a sinking ship. Around 50% of the answers went to Obama and just 9% to Romney. The only country, out of the 21, that would prefer Romney to Obama, is Pakistan.
In Kenya, you know, the country where Obama is from, gives roughly 3/4 of its votes to Obama.
The most pro-Obama country, as it turned out, is France.
For some reason the poll reminds me the results of a too original poll to be taken seriously. The article I wrote about the poll was titled
Survey: Iranians would welcome Bush as their president. The poll, from 2004, asked Iranians who they would have as their president. Bush won. See the article for more details.
